The Jewish Federation of Macon and Middle Georgia, formed in 1942, seeks to foster cooperation among Jewish welfare organizations, To engage in philanthropic, cultural, or other group activities which will contribute to the welfare of the community, To coordinate the fund-raising activities of local, national and overseas agencies, To raise, collect and distribute funds for the advancement of the welfare of the community, either directly or through presently existing or subsequently established agencies.
